Brief Biography-Diego Quispe Tito was from Cuzco, Peru. He was instrumental in setting up the Cuzco school with Basilio Santa Cruz Pumacallo. His influences were of Spanish and Dutch origin; the style of Ferdinand Bol had an impression on his work, along with a Jesuit artist named Bernardo Bitti, who had travelled from Italy via Spain. |
