Nikolay Sauerweid

1836-1866 Russia/Academicism

Brief Biography-Nikolay Sauerweid studied at the Saint Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts, where his father, Alexander, was a professor. He became designated Academician of Battle Art at the academy in 1860. Sadly, he died at the young age of thirty in 1866.
