Brief Biography-Karl Robert Lundberg was born in Stockholm in 1861. He studied at the Technical School, followed by the Academy of Fine Arts, for four years. Lundberg visited Morocco, France, Finland, and England. He spent time in Switzerland c. 1890 to recover from lung disease, but unfortunately, he died in Mörsil, Sweden, in 1893. He was an illustrator, portraitist, landscape painter, and member of the Swedish Artists Association. Apart from Stockholm, his works hang in the Musee Orientaliste in Marrakech. |
