Gerónimo Antonio de Ezquerra

c. 1660-1733 Spain/Baroque

Brief Biography-There are few facts about the life of Gerónimo Antonio de Ezquerra, except that he was a disciple of Palomino and was associated with Juan Carreño de Miranda. He assessed old paintings for the Council of Castile and clients and was a painter of religious works and numerous bodegones. Carreño may have influenced his work. He died in Madrid in 1733.
