Brief Biography-
Pieter Codde was a portrait and genre painter. He lived and worked in Amsterdam and is perhaps most famously known for finishing the work by Frans Hals of the Amsterdam Civic Guards, dubbed The Meagre Company. Hals influenced his style of painting. |
