Budapest Master

Active 1465-1495 Spain/Early Renaissance

Brief Biography-The Master of Budapest from Castile was primarily a painter of religious subjects. He painted with the influence of Flemish art. The Budapest Museum of Fine Arts, from where we acquired his title, houses a five-panel altarpiece by the master.
