Brief Biography-François Barraud was a self-taught Swiss artist; his three brothers also painted. He moved to Reims in France in 1922 and married Marie, who became the subject of many of his paintings. In 1924, he studied at the Ecole du Louvre in Paris, and the old French masters greatly influenced his work. | |
